Taking children to school by bike is easier than you think

Everyone should have the right to “feel a little wind in their hair’. Even families. Even with small children. Full stop, and not the question mark.

And if you don't picture it at all or imagine it as a messy family with several kids on a bicycle and the head of the family with the fixed thought of how to keep his balance and not all end up on the ground, then you should know that the bicycle has made a lot of progress since its discovery, and the same goes for the way children are transported.

Using a bicycle to get your children around is great! It allows you to start the day with a positive charge for both of you, be outdoors starting already in the morning, share small daily experiences and bond more and more with your offspring. I suggest an article about the difference between starting the day by car and by bicycle, while our family lives and sees this difference every day, starting in the morning when we go out together to take our son to kindergarten.

Those who take their children to school, know what a mess it is every morning and then at school leaving time near the school facilities, not even the bars and traffic wardens can manage the traffic jam in an efficient manner.

There isn't even a bicycle rack near our school (we have applied for one at the municipality) and parents who bring their children to school can be counted on the fingers of one hand. And so everyone in the car, messed up, pissed off and stressed already in the morning and the day has yet to begin!

Our day, luckily! starts differently, we set off in TAGA with a nice little helmet from URLO Tigger keeping us company, using shortcuts in the parks wherever possible, meeting people and animals and making short stops to exchange a few words or to observe them more closely and then continuing by discussing what has just been seen or happened. Arriving with a positive charge is a day that began together in a peaceful and fulfilling way, and then continues in the same rhythm, the TAGA rhythm.
