It was designed and created by a team of the best engineers from four countries (the Netherlands, Israel, Taiwan and the USA), experts in the world of cargo bikes, and it took a good four years of work to create this little gem of a bike. TAGA is the only bike in the world that you can carry a newborn baby, because with a docking system you can install the ISOFIX baby seat.
While all bikes have been adapted for transporting children, (e.g. the classic city bike has a child seat or trolley added), the TAGA, on the other hand, has been thought out from the first second of design to optimise child safety during the journey that parents will have to make with their beloved children.

Infants up to 6 months of age face the driver, while babies from 6 months upwards sit comfortably in a seat facing the road, because they too rightly have the right to enjoy a bike ride.
With TAGA you can transport one or two children, and there are five bike configurations available. Let's take a look at them together:
Let's start with TAGA FIRST MONTHS. This is the configuration where there is a baby seat, which you can put the baby from 0 to 6 months, and the baby faces the driver.
CHILD SEAT TAG: In which the child seat facing the road is hooked, which can be used to put the child from 6 months up to 6 years.
DOUBLE CHILD SEAT, this is the configuration that can carry 2 children from the age of 6 months, they are both facing the road.

Let's look at the technical specifications instead: TAGA is designed with 3 wheels to give maximum stability, even when we are stationary to look after our child, we never have to worry about keeping our balance. The frame is all aluminium alloy, just think that the central tube trellis has a diameter of no less than 60 mm, so they've created a very strong central supporting structure. Up front they put a pair of disc brakes, to minimise stopping distance in the event of sudden braking.
The bike is equipped with a 3-speed gearbox the engineers have installed the NEXUS SHIMANO gearbox, which makes shifting very smooth and fluid even when shifting from a standstill. On the handlebars there is a handbrake, it seems a minor thing but I assure you that when there is a creature only a few months old sitting on the bike, safety comes before everything else.
TAGA's entire design revolves around the safety of the child. In fact, if we look closely, the child is protected in all four directions. In the event of a side impact, there are two strong bike handlebars to protect the child, which are aluminium tubes with a diameter of 35 mm. Then there is a bar in front to protect the child from the front.
The thing about TAGA that leaves everyone speechless is that it transforms into a pushchair in just 20 seconds. Yes, you got it right, by quietly leaving the baby sitting in its seat you can perform the transformation in just 4 moves and switch from bike to buggy configuration in just 20 seconds.
