Children's bicycle

I am writing about TAGA to make it clear that the child-carrying bicycle is there to carry them safely, to think only of fun and to be safe.

It doesn't matter if we live in a big city or a small town, except for long business trips, everything we need DAILY is usually within a distance of a few kilometres: school, supermarkets, post office, services, parks, - we always travel the same roads at a maximum distance of about 5 km.

What do I need a child carrier bike for if I can perfectly well get around on a bike with child seats?

Who hasn't fallen off a bike, I think everyone has, and maybe not even just once. And then it always happens at the moment you least expect it, suddenly. When everything goes smoothly and wonderfully well until that moment, and then something goes wrong.

It has happened to me several times, and several times I have seen it happen.
That is precisely why, when my son was born, the idea of taking him on the classic bicycle was a little dubious. On the one hand, our family always travels by bike, it's faster, it makes you feel freer and more alive. On the other hand, it is one thing to fall alone and another to fall with a child.

What is the difference between a bicycle with child seats and a child bike?

First of all, the child-carrying bicycle is built for this purpose, to carry one to a maximum of four children in the safest way possible. * There are bicycles capable of carrying up to 6 children, but the maximum allowed in our country is limited to 4 children for a purpose-built bicycle.

In addition, a normal bicycle, according to the Highway Code, cannot carry more than 1 child. (Here is the dedicated article) It is not allowed. And it is not allowed because it is not safe. The normal bicycle with 2 children becomes very unstable and unpredictable.

Children's bicycles can be of different types.
They are mainly divided into a 3-wheel bicycle and a 2-wheel bicycle but with a frame designed to carry 2-3 children. In the latter case, the 2-wheel bicycle is safer and more stable than a normal bicycle, but obviously does not have the stability of a 3-wheel bicycle, which, even when stationary, stands on its own.

By taking the children on a 3-wheel bicycle, mum, dad, grandparents or uncles, as well as the older brother or sister, no longer have to think about keeping their balance and can concentrate on the passenger/passenger and the route to be chosen.

The bike doesn't fall over and nobody gets hurt, even, speaking of the TAGA, it is stable even in the event of a small bump, such as a suddenly opened door. The bike has very good braking, fast, but without fear of tipping over.

It's a great way to get the kids out and about or to do chores on a bicycle without balance problems and without fear of injury.

An informed choice starts with the right questions.
