TAGA is a multifunctional vehicle for parents and children. The Bicycle Stroller line brings together the benefits of a bike trailer and a classy pram. TAGA gives parents the opportunity to spend quality time with their children, riding safely and keeping fit. In a matter of seconds, from a fun, safe and manoeuvrable bike, the TAGA Bicycle Stroller transforms into a classy pram with which to easily get around the shops, board the train or get into the lift. Even though the TAGA Family Bike does not transform into a pram, it offers a wide range of uses and can be folded, allowing it to be transported in a car or public transport.

The short answer is TAGA's patented transformation mechanism. The long answer is that this mechanism allows TAGA to switch from bike mode to pram mode and back in 20 seconds and 4 simple steps: remove the seat, lower the seat, flip the rear frame and reinstall the seat. TAGA offers a safer ride than an ordinary bicycle with a child seat. Why, you ask? It is equipped with a special 3-wheel structure and integrated safety functions. Moreover, it is safer to ride TAGA than a bicycle with a bike trailer, because you can keep a constant eye on your child. TAGA has been evolving for years to cater for every single aspect of safety. As a result, it has come to meet a long list of American, European and Australian safety standards. The TAGA Family Bike model can wait for children up to around 8-9 years of age. While the TAGA Bicycle Stroller version is suitable for children weighing up to 35 kg (6-7 years). In pram version it is suitable for children weighing up to 20 kg (4-5 years).

With the car seat adapter, you can carry your child in a pushchair and also in bicycle mode on even ground from birth. To be transported in the TAGA Standard Car Seat, the child must be at least 6 months old.

Not necessarily. Thanks to its 3-wheel design, learning to ride TAGA is easy even for those who don't know how to ride a bike. And anyone who already knows how to ride a bike will learn to ride it straight away.

TAGA Stroller Bike parts are produced and assembled in Taiwan, while fabric parts and the TAGA Family Bike are manufactured in China. Rest assured, we operate an advanced quality control process in all our production lines and the entire distribution chain to ensure a high quality production standard.

Unlike a normal pushchair that only carries the child, TAGA is a bicycle that has to carry the weight of an adult together with one or two children. It carries heavier loads and reaches a higher speed, which is why its frame must be thicker and, therefore, heavier.

That said, TAGA is designed to be easy to disassemble. If you need to put it in the car, TAGA can be divided into 3 parts, each weighing a maximum of 10 kg. And thanks to its wide wheels, it is easy to carry it down stairs, which compensates for its extra weight. TAGA weighs about the same as a normal city bike with a child seat. And it is lighter in comparison to other bike trailers that weigh around 35-45kg.

No. The TAGA car seat is not designed for this. Rather, we recommend that you use a car seat. However, you can use a car seat with TAGA, provided it is part of those models for which we produce adapters.

Proximity
Normally with a normal seat, your child is sitting behind you. With TAGA, your baby is exactly in your arms. The TAGA seat allows your child to enjoy the scenery and ensures that you can look at each other and communicate along the way.

Security
TAGA's 3-wheel construction is considered more stable than a normal bicycle with a seat. This makes it a safer way of travelling with children. TAGA always rests on 3 wheels, so there is no risk of your child falling while you are putting it on or off the TAGA. And should you happen to hit a cord or end up in a pothole, you will be able to keep your balance thanks to the increased stability. To keep your balance on a normal bike, you have to gain speed. But not on TAGA. However, as with any bicycle, you have to be careful when riding at high speed with children and slow down when going downhill and in curves. Another safety advantage of TAGA is the protection of children's feet from the spokes.

The comfort of the child
The TAGA seat is designed according to the rules of ergonomics to maximise your child's comfort. It has a thick aluminium frame and an extra-soft foam head cushion (in case someone gets sleepy). In addition, there is a hand rail and special armrests that can hold side bags. To ensure comfort for your child, the seat is equipped with a sun shade. A rain cover can also be added.

Continuity
Unlike a normal bike, you can turn TAGA into a pram and carry it inside once you arrive at your destination. This means you won't have to look for a place to tie it down or leave out any parts that might be exposed to the elements. And your child can stay safely in its car seat. TAGA can also be taken on public transport, where transporting a bicycle is, in most cases, not allowed or requires an additional charge. And once there, you can switch to bicycle mode to continue on to your final destination.

Proximity
With TAGA your little one travels right in your arms. The TAGA seat allows your child to enjoy the scenery and ensures that you can look at each other and communicate along the way. With a bike trailer, on the other hand, your child is behind you, which prevents you from sharing the experience of travelling with him.

Security
With a bike trailer, it is easy to miscalculate the turning radius and the actual width of the trailer, which increases the chance of hitting a kerb or something else. With TAGA, the widest part of the vehicle is in front of you, so it is easier for you to decide when to turn. Also, with TAGA, there is no need to turn back to check on your passenger. You can drive while always looking ahead.

The comfort of the child
When you're riding a bicycle pulling a trailer, you don't realise the cloud of dust and gravel you raise. Even when the road is relatively clean or you have mud flaps, you end up dirtying your passengers. Not to mention when it rains or when the path is gravel. With TAGA, your child is safe from all that - right next to you.

Continuity
Many times when you are travelling by bike with a trailer, you have to think about a place to tie it up. With TAGA, you don't have to worry about that. Once you arrive at your destination, you can turn it into a buggy and take it inside with you. There is no need to tie it up or leave any parts out that might be exposed to the rain. And if your child falls asleep while riding in the bike version, he or she can continue snoozing peacefully in the pram version. Finally, TAGA in pram version can also be taken on public transport, where transporting a bike with a trailer is usually not allowed or requires an additional fee.

Tricycles, including TAGA, handle differently from ordinary bicycles. Ordinary bicycles are by their very nature unstable. The rider has to gain speed to keep his balance. In contrast, tricycles are inherently stable, whether stationary or at low or medium speed. However, when turning at high speed, they are subject to centrifugal force and in the absence of careful steering could tip over. Since the tricycle cannot lean, the driver must slow down before turning and lean his or her body into the curve to counteract the centrifugal force.

TAGA's steering was designed by professional bike and tricycle engineers, who took into account a multitude of factors to ensure the safest and best ride possible. Factors such as the tricycle's steering geometry based on Ackerman's law, optimised wheel track, optimised centre of gravity and others. As a result, the steering is incredibly light and easy to manoeuvre. At the end of the day, the responsibility for safety rests on your shoulders, parents. We strongly advise you to steer TAGA carefully when travelling with your children.

Do not turn sharply at high speed, do not use TAGA for racing and do not take it off-road. Try driving TAGA several times to get used to handling and manoeuvring it, before you start carrying children.

Similar to the front wheel of a jogging pram, the front wheel of the TAGA, in pram mode, does not turn (the front wheels of conventional prams do turn). To turn the pram, you have to press lightly on the handles, so the front wheel will rise, and the pram will turn (in the same way as a jogging pram). You also have to press down on the handles to pull TAGA backwards.

TAGA has one frame model and many accessories. The basic configuration includes: frame, child seat, sun canopy and under-seat basket. The frame is silver and the child seat is available in four different colours. Our TAGA-compatible accessories include: second child seat, car seat adapter, wooden basket, eco-friendly shopping basket and more.

To date, we offer the adapter for ISOFIX car seats. The main brands are Bebè Confort, Maxi Così, Nanna Guri and others, also compatible with Cybex and Be Safe car seats. We also have the Graco car seat adapter, compatible with Graco Snugride 22 and Snugride 35.

Yes. We offer two solutions for going to Taga with children:

1. The Second Seat
Attached to the rear of the main seat, creating a whole between the two seats. The front seat (Standard Taga Seat) is suitable for children aged 6-7 years, while the rear seat (Second Taga Seat) is suitable for children aged 3-4 years. Please refer to the accessories section for more information on the Second Taga Car Seat.

2. The Wooden Calessino
It allows two children to sit facing each other. The Wooden Calessino is equipped with a safety harness and is suitable for 2 children aged 1 year up to 7-9 years. Please see the accessories section for more information.

Yes, it is possible with the TAGA Family Bike model. It is not possible to carry an infant and another child in the front with the TAGA Bicycle Stroller model, however, it is possible to put the second child behind the driver thanks to the rear seat.

TAGA is equipped with a storage basket located under the Standard Seat. You can hang your mummy bag on the handle behind the seat. There are several bike racks on the market that fit the Taga seatpost and can be used to hold things while riding. In addition, we offer a pair of side bags to attach to the child seat.

Yes, TAGA can be folded up in less than a minute and put in the boot of a family car or sedan. The TAGA Family Bike is even more compact for transport.

Yes, TAGA can be loaded onto an ordinary bike rack.

Yes, TAGA's seat and hood fabric are easy to remove and can be washed, preferably by hand, but also in the washing machine. Do not tumble-dry them. For detailed washing instructions, check the label on the fabric.

TAGA manufacturers insist that you and your children wear helmets while driving. In some countries, helmets are required by law. Following the laws of the country in which you live is the responsibility of the parents.

The basic TAGA Family Bike line only has the shopping basket without the child seats. Whereas for the TAGA Bicycle Stroller line, we strongly recommend that one of TAGA's main accessories (child seat, car seat adapter, wooden buggy or shopping basket) is attached while riding. Please bear in mind that the absence of the child in the seat affects the ride.

Yes. The seat has a support stand that allows it to stand independently on the floor while you are changing mode. If, on the other hand, you use the TAGA Second Seat or the TAGA Wooden Seat, you must remove the child from the seat before detaching it.

There are 6 reclining positions for the TAGA Family Bike line, while for the TAGA Bicycle Stroller line (except for the model with the Calessino) there are 2 reclining positions in bicycle mode and 2 in pram mode.

Most accessories can be attached in seconds, with our patent-pending quick release mechanism. The accessories come with a user manual, showing how to attach them to your TAGA.

Of course. Many of our customers are grandfathers and grandmothers who want to make the time spent in the company of their grandchildren special, or elderly people who use the Taga as a shopping basket. The Taga's 3-wheel design and safety measures guarantee stability and a safe ride.

Taga offers the best driving experience on paved roads such as cycle paths, pavements and footpaths.

Although there is no standard size for entrance doors in most countries, Taga will fit through most doors. If you are unsure of the lift doors and entrances you usually use, we recommend measuring them to make sure Taga will fit through. Taga's width is 73cm.

Of course. It is one of the biggest advantages of Taga and the reason why it is so environmentally friendly. You can take Taga on public transport as a buggy and then ride as a bicycle to your final destination.

When travelling with children, most airlines allow passengers to carry the pram to the exit. There, the pram is folded and loaded on board by ground staff. We advise you to find out whether your airline has any restrictions regarding pushchairs.

It takes approximately one hour to assemble Taga and no special tools or skills are required.

If not assembled, Taga requires a Philips screwdriver and pliers, together with Allen keys, which are supplied in the package.

Typical Taga maintenance activities are the same as for normal bicycles and include: washing, inflating, adjusting brakes, etc.

The recommended tyre pressure for Taga is 60 PSI. The pressure range, as indicated by the tyre manufacturer, is Min 40 - Max 65 PSI.

In Italy, TAGA is sold at www.tagabikeitalia.it and through authorised dealers.

We offer a 2-year limited warranty on almost all Taga parts. There is a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on the frame and gears. The fabric, tyres and cables are covered for one year from the official date of purchase, against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, such as flat tyres and brake adjustment, and is only valid for the original purchaser.

Should you experience any problems with your Taga Bike, we will provide you with repair kits or spare parts that have been thoroughly tested and are easy to assemble with or without instructions. Taga does not have its own repair centres. For routine bicycle repairs or brake adjustment, go to your local dealer or visit a bicycle shop in your area.

You can find the serial number of your Taga on the left side of the rear frame, under the pedal axle (the triangular piece).
