Bike Tours: Brothers Grimm Museum, Rapunzel's Tower, Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the Enchanted Forest

Dear friends of bike travel, our shared journey continues. We are in Kassel, the city of the Brothers Grimm where they collected and wrote their fairy tales. The museum built in their honour is also located here. Did you know that there were actually three Brothers Grimm and not two as is commonly known, two were responsible for collecting and writing down the world-famous fairy tales, while the third created illustrations for the second edition of their fairy tales.

 

Kassel if for itself as a city did not fascinate our family protagonist of this FABULOUS edition of bike trips, but just think, this is where the world's best known fairy tales were written!!!

Not to be missed was a visit to Rapunzel's Tower, you see, it's her braid out there! And although there is currently a fancy restaurant in there, surely it is to celebrate the liberation of the beautiful princess and her marriage to the liberating prince, while the arrow was left out there for the banquet guests, how else can they enter a tower without doors!
